Financial Counselling Support Officer

The Indigenous Consumer Assistance Network Ltd (ICAN) is seeking a Financial Counselling Support Officer for our Commonwealth Bank Foundation sponsored Indigenous Financial Counselling Mentorship Program. The successful applicant will be required to successfully complete a Diploma in Community Services (financial counselling) and receive on the job mentoring by an accredited financial counsellor. The suitable candidate will be a team player and willing to work in remote Indigenous communities.

It is an occupational requirement that this position be filled by an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person as permitted and arguable under Sections 25, 104, and 105 of the Queensland Anti-Discrimination Act 1991.
